dream or nightmare: www.nosepilot.com.

a lot of links to exciting websites on webdev: a magazine not for the intellectually faint at heart is the edge. has a wonderful motto.

xplane call themselves "the visual thinking company". focus on web design and interactivity(?). including an excellent weblog.

finally, 2k more and in german: the 7k contest.

weblogs' first appearance in austrian mediascape coming soon in m@trix. how was that about never to trust a name containing the @-symbol?

i am looking (hearing?) forward to listen to what mr langreiter had to say. on sunday, 10:30 pm i will know more.

transmitting live from mars: ldap is short for lightweight directory access protocol. something worth to check out. distraction is guaranteed with typolinx, lots of fine ressources to font-related stuff on the web.

today, arfco3000 has a story about service in central europe. i have a similar story: if you want to call-by-call in austria you have to register yourself with the company providing the service. isn't this perverse? generally, call-by-call means that you choose your provider simply by dialling the appropriate code and paying the call later with the next bill from your telephone company. but because telekom austria does not want to bill for other providers i first have to register with the provider and wait until the forms are delivered to me, filled in, sent back and finally processed by the provider. that's so farcial.

uh, and yes, phone companies, banks and health insurances belong together.

if you think of a trip to london think of buzz. incredibly cheap flights. so i can afford flying, too!

always being attired in the nice handwriting on wesley felter's site i poked through the chankstore freefont archive and really liked what i saw. many beautiful character sets extraordinarily presented (challenging comments). my favorite is stomper. however, with alphamack wesley probably made the best choice.

i missed to record that last weekend i spent some very good time with lewis sykes, a friend and colleague of mrs sensomatic. lewis runs a record label called zip dog and takes panoramic photos without tripod wherever he can. that must have been the reason why he stepped on st. stephen's tower... he promised to put them on the web, and i am curious.

so this is where björk lives... glad, benjamin stuckrad-barre has an online diary. hey, he was also in jena! want a gobstopper, benji?

mr langreiter does really cool things with his cellular. who needs wml anyway? those tiny devices are a pain in the ass most of the time. but as a remote control they deserve at least some respect. i just cannot understand why there are not more wireless applications using the infrared port of mobile phones.

so will christian become a web reporter feeding his blog from wicked tyrolian parties?
